National
Framework with Buying Solutions
PAS
Medical is part of the Buying Solutions Framework
Agreement for the supply of Non-Medical and Non Clinical
Staff to the NHS. For the past 3 years we have
successfully supplied to the NHS under the National
Framework via PASA, the NHS Purchasing and Supply
Agency; the new framework and PASA have now become part
of Buying Solutions, a single procurement body.
This
means we are an approved supplier to the NHS and offer
an honest and reliable approach to the new National
Framework. To find out more about Buying Solutions and
the Framework Agreement, please visit

What We Offer
Our
excellent reputation is due to our direct communication and
understanding of the needs of managers. More recently we
have been successfully working in partnerships to widen our
provision to encompass general secretarial and
administrative posts within the NHS.
The
workload of medical secretaries is such that absence, due to
either illness or holidays, very quickly creates a back-log
which, once out of hand, is extremely difficult to clear.
PAS Medical provides experienced medical secretaries who are
able to carry out the job efficiently, speedily and
professionally, so providing Value for Money. It is
appreciated that budgets are tight and funds low, but our
aim is to provide staff on an ad hoc basis, either short or
long term, on or off the premises, who can complete tasks
quickly and efficiently as well as accurately.

 |
Quite
often, all that is needed is a backup support to clear tapes
and dictation to bring a department back up to speed as
medical secretaries are sometimes expected to cover
colleagues at times of illness or holidays. PAS Medical
provides medical secretarial support to clear tapes and
dictation. It is appreciated that each hospital maintains
its own corporate policies and use of technology; PAS
Medical aim to provide staff familiar with particular types
of technology, including Patient Administration Systems
(P.A.S.), ICD coding, word processing packages and dictating
systems by visiting the hospital and liasing with key
members of staff.
All
our medical secretaries are qualified and trained and clerks
are P.A.S.-trained where necessary. Where possible, each
member of staff working at PAS Medical receives an induction
course to familiarise them with up-to-date terminology,
technology and policies. Continuous support is given to
personnel when on site and liaison between a key member of
your staff and PAS Medical is maintained whilst staff are
employed.
Our
aim is to provide specialised medical secretarial and
clerical cover purely for health organisations and we are a
recognised contractor for specialised medical secretarial
services throughout the north west region. |
